Wednesday evening each month. Many meetings are at the Center for Wooden
Boats at the south end of Lake Union; however, we often meet elsewhere.

This year’s event will start at Rob DaPron’s home/shop at 9 am on Mercer Island. Meet at the Mercer Island Park and Ride and walk one block west, follow the signs to a quick short cut through the trees to Rob’s. There is NO parking on his street end. Rob has started working on his 1928 Chris Craft 3 again, the target date of completion is before the ACBS Annual Show at Coeur D’Alene in September. Ron Stevenson’s 1948 20ft Custom will be on display also. Coffee and donuts will be available. From there we go back to the Park and Ride, members with van’s will coordinate carpools for the rest of the day.
Our next stop will be at Kirk Knapp’s where his new boat “Long Shot” is getting new varnish and some other touches. Kirk has many other interesting things to see also. Kirk will also be our chef for lunch, which is provided by our chapter, donations accepted!
Our final stop of the day will be at Alan Thomle’s shop in Warm Beach where we will see the Grey Hound under restoration along with his other projects. Grey Hound is a Boat that was raced at Coeur D’Alene. Maps of the tour will be distributed at Rob’s. Bring your friends; we will see you on the 12th!
