Alert!!! There
are people working a variety of scams which prey on advertisers on web collectible
want-ad listings. Typically the "buyer" is overseas, often Africa.
The buyer will ask few
questions about your item. Use of language will be clumsy. There are several
ways to work the scam. Often they will send a phony check in an excess amount.
They will ask for this amount to be returned to buyer. This variety of scam
is very common on the web; it certainly is not unique to our ACBS-PNW want-ads.
One advertiser wrote that she
has received fifty e-mails trying to work this scam. I am sorry this is happening.
However, there is no way that they can get money from you unless you cooperate;
it is usually easy to see when someone is trying to working this kind of scam.
Do be careful! In the logs for this site I can see there are visitors from areas
which are known for being the home countries of scammers; it is a continuing
problem. I am reporting all such attempted scams to the FBI; I suggest you do
the same. If you have any questions please contact me.

1957 Century Runabout. This is a project boat. (Not a disaster and is well
worth restoring) Complete with running 327 cu in American Motors engine. Also
have a complete spare engine with BW reverse gear. Boat requires a few planks
replaced, as well as a new deck. I have started on the project, but as usual,
I don't have the time required to stay on the project long enough to finish
it. Basically, the boat is in good shape, most all of the chrome has been rechromed,

This is a nice Vintage 1959 13 foot Lonestar w/30 hp 4 cyl merc turbo with electric start.It is a 2 seater with an orange top and white bottom. I am the second owner although it has been kept in the family since it was new. My cousin was the first owner andhe used it to fish on the bay for a few years then got sick and wasnt able to use it anymore so it sat in his garage for 30years or so and then he gave it to me. Of course it did not run after sitting that long so i had the engine serviced with new points, plugs and belt. i serviced the lower unit myself and it now runs like a champ.All the lights work on the boat and it comes with an anchor(not original) and original 5 or 6 gallon fuel can.It does have a full boat cover but it has seen better days.It comes with the original trailer(although the lights do not work on it)and is located in Port Clinton,Ohio off of Bayshore Rd. 2500.00 obo this is a great little boat that i have had alot of fun on running around the Sandusky Bay. Nice boat. Dark blue Lapstrake hull with stained and varnished Mahogany house,
wind screen transom and coamings. Layout has a windowed cuddy cabin forward
with V-berth cushions, port-a potty and storage under, and a hatch to the forward
deck. Aft is an open wheelhouse and cockpit area. The helm station has two adjustable
seats, an adjustable wind screen, removable convertible canvas top and zippered
windowed curtains for the cockpit. It comes with gauges, VHS Radio, GPS Sounder,
Ritchie Compass. Under the aft deck is a 120HP Mercruiser I/O. The boat comes
with a nice galvanized dual axle King trailer and a full travel cover. Overall
the boat is in nice condition. The engine was rebuilt before I got the boat
and has low hours on the rebuild. The outdrive was completely rebuilt last year
and works nicely. The boat is offered fully found and is ready to launch with
all required safety gear, life jackets, anchor & line, 50amp power cord
and so on.
