Alert!!! There
are people working a variety of scams which prey on advertisers on web collectible
want-ad listings. Typically the "buyer" is overseas, often Africa.
The buyer will ask few
questions about your item. Use of language will be clumsy. There are several
ways to work the scam. Often they will send a phony check in an excess amount.
They will ask for this amount to be returned to buyer. This variety of scam
is very common on the web; it certainly is not unique to our ACBS-PNW want-ads.
One advertiser wrote that she
has received fifty e-mails trying to work this scam. I am sorry this is happening.
However, there is no way that they can get money from you unless you cooperate;
it is usually easy to see when someone is trying to working this kind of scam.
Do be careful! In the logs for this site I can see there are visitors from areas
which are known for being the home countries of scammers; it is a continuing
problem. I am reporting all such attempted scams to the FBI; I suggest you do
the same. If you have any questions please contact me.

I have for sale or trade a 1966 Dorsett San Juan 19 foot cabin cruiser.It has a 115 hp Johnson outboard,a 1969 model I think.I just aquired this boat from an elderly gent who cannot use it anymore,so I havenot had it on the water.It is VERY RESTORABLE It is in fairto good condition,and structurally needs only to have the wood in the transom reinstalled.It was removed and new wood is cut,but it has not been installed yet.I am in eastern New York ,in the Hudson Valley.I also have a single axle Cox trailer with tilt, and an electric winch. I would consider trades for a 14 or 16 foot deep V type or an xtra wide jon boat style fishing boat with a wide beam for bigger water and something in the 10 to 25 HP range motor. 1969 Bertram Baron. The Best One. Very few of these built between 1967 and 1970{approx. 44}. Same owner for 35 years. Kept in heated space. Never in salt water. 1957 Century Runabout. This is a project boat. (Not a disaster and is well
worth restoring) Complete with running 327 cu in American Motors engine. Also
have a complete spare engine with BW reverse gear. Boat requires a few planks

--1947 18ft Reinell. This award-winning utility had the bottom refastened and
was professionally refinished a few years ago and has not been used since. It
does not leak a drop. The white hull with bright green interior is a show stopper.
It has a restored (by Denny Johnson) Evinrude 50 hp Big Four with zero hours
on it. This boat was designed for use in Puget Sound, she rides well and keeps
you dry with splash chines. Includes custom made bunk trailer, and I can throw

I have a hard to find windshield for a early to mid 50 s Chris-Craft Holiday or will fit Custom Runabout. It looks just like the U-22 & U24 s. It stands 12 high and aprox. 64 wide. No front glass but does have the side glass. It is in premium shape. It has fresh chrome. It still has the plastic wrap from the chromer. I only want the amount that I have in it. $850.00.
