“May the Fourth be With You”

Opening Day 2024, May 3rd & 4th

Friday Afternoon, ACBS PNW Boat Rides:  We give boat rides to Seattle YC Friday May 3rd 2:00pm between docks 3 & 4. Five to  seven boats would be ideal. Please call, email or text Steve Snider if you are able to give boat rides to thank SYC.

No boat? We’ll find you a ride. Register and we’ll contact you.

Friday Evening, Opening Day Dinner: Chinooks at Fisherman’s Terminal @ 5:30.  There is also overnight moorage @ $27.20 minimum. Boat trailer parking is at the back.

Saturday Morning, Opening Day Breakfast: The Bay Café. Right next to Chinooks so there is boat trailer parking. Meet up between 9:00 and 10:00am. We head out around noon to Portage Bay to muster for the parade.

Saturday afternoon approximately 2:00:  This is when we typically make our run through the cut for the parade. Remember to have SPIRIT as we are being judged in the Spirit Class

Saturday Afternoon, after the parade, lunch at the UW Husky Crew House: Following the parade and lap around 520 we arrive at the Conibear Shellhouse, home of the University of Washington Rowing Crew. Make sure crews have put away the shells before we dock. Bring your own lunch to picnic on the crew house dock.  Around 3:30 after the parade has ended, the green light will be turned on for boat traffic west thru the cut and we can return to Lake Union.

Costumes/Skit – “May the Fourth be with You” Participants in half our runabouts will dress like Pirates being pursued by Star Wars storm troopers in the following boats. Hope you join us.
